[challenge entry] not sure if this is appropriate

not so much a game, as the boys kicking one another and the girls ignoring it all.

# who cares?
it made me laugh!

when they hold hands, do they summon a giant robotic Megahitler?

# arm gestures
yup, probably. ever noticed those hand gestures though. definitely a cult thing!
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:24, archived)
# perhaps to be in the cult
you have to overstarch the right arm of your shirt

# *sighs*
i must admit, in my 17 years, i have never seen a park ranger for real. i have missed out i am sure. not woo.

# Weren't Nazi's leftwing?
I'm American. So you know what that means. 1492. But doing my own research I found that they were not really rightwing at all.
Someone rescue me
And Yay for political shopping.

# fuctifino
in answer to this i say... hitler was a very bad man, and that's all i know! gcse history taught me nothing except that russia is really rather poor.

# they all drive lada rivas
*stifles laughter*

# I'm pretty sure that even in the most conservative
textbook in the states they would still have classed the 3rd reich as right wing. Just because you can make the trains run on time doesn't make you a pinko.

# Weimar Germany
omg i've started a DEBATE!

# The Nazis were at the point
where extreme left meets extreme right at the apogee of evil.

They were virtually indistinguishable from Stalinist Communists.

Basically both were at the opposite end of the scale from democracy.
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:33, archived)
# it depends on your view of the exterme left
in my view, the extreme left is the perfect ideal of communism that can never be achieved. to say that stalin was left wing is an insult. wot a rant. sorry.
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:38, archived)
# right wing people deny that hitler was right wing
left wing people deny that stalin was left wing

confusion often arises because "nazi" stands for "national socialist", the party was socialist, but that was before hitler joined

also in any interweb based discussion, whichever party is the first to compare any other "discussee" to hitler or a nazi, automatically looses
Internet politics 101

# I was going to say that !
at their extremes the right and left wings political philosophies do tend to converge.
The major differences are that under Stalin you couldn't own a car whereas Hitler tried to bring personal transportation to the masses.
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:43, archived)
# No he didnt.
He conned the entire nation with that one. Goddamn o-level history will tell you that! pretty fuckin c00l car tho
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:59, archived)
# O'level History ?
WTF has that got to do with Facts ?
Ferdinand Porche was given the go ahead to design a "Peoples car" by Adolf Hitler.
Just because Volkswagen choose to deny this doesn't make it any less true.
History is very much a matter of perspective and as such is highly subjective - Discuss.
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 16:08, archived)
# there is no need to discuss.
your last point is evident from the fact that [erspectives of history are being discussed. Hitler gave him the go ahead then turned all the factories into weapons production lines.

# Isnt it interesting
that the Nazi Party is German for something liek "The New Socialist Party". Hm, socialism...nazis... sound close to home?

# Nationalitzer Socialitzer Zeitung Party
Or Something.

Edit: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (or Nazi for short)
(, Mon 15 Mar 2004, 15:37, archived)
# yeah, or something.
I think it can be translated to "New Labour" if you work on old German
