I remember a guy on the Big Breakfast a few years ago...Changed his name to A. Spiderman by deed pole.
When they asked him to prove it by showing an official document, he didn't have a passport or anything, so had to show his UB40. That kind of made sense...

WhenDavid Beckham called his kid Romeo one of the papers asked other footballers if they'd consider calling their kid after their favourite fictional character. Steve McManaman said he'd call his kid Spiderman. Which has quite a good ring to it - Spiderman McManaman
