Thats good that. they do make some crap, although the 'cold to touch' soldering iron seems pretty cool.

Loving their ironing board covers, they come in a range of no less than EIGHT EXCITING DESIGNS!

It's a complete and total con. Do seriously you think you could solder off 4 1.5v AA batteries?

All it does it short circuit the batteries when you touch stuff, meaning that the tip heats up. It only heats up in a very local area (too small to do any real work) and if you hold it on for more than a few seconds, you start frying the batteries inside it.

Get one of the gas powered torch ones from Maplin for a tenner, *much* better.
