# Yeah
a Daewoo Matiz, 800cc of pure power. You should see her when it opens up on the motor way. ha ha, 90 mph is a thing of dreams

# Is it bad for speedometers when they get to the end and just kind of shiver?
I know it's not so great when passengers do.
(, Sun 12 Mar 2006, 13:52, archived)
# it's fantastic when your speedo does that
especially when your speedo looks like this. Your passengers will follow suit.

# ahh.. i got the 5 series bit right then.....
my mate has a 530d with all the M-Tech stuff on it and the lastest kit.. looks like a drug dealers car :-)

# I kinda doubt mine would do that.
I'm guessing about 130 MPH is about as much as mine wants to do without extra stunts.

(it's a Jeep Cherokee)

# when my new one arrives
with the engine limiter removed ( yes the UK can no longer have a car at market that does over 155mph ) and the ECU re-mapped I am told to expect 190 -200 MPH and I can't wait for my first track day.
(, Sun 12 Mar 2006, 14:11, archived)
# over 200 I heard... ;-)
as long as you keep teh M button on.

vroom....

bye bye license.

(, Sun 12 Mar 2006, 14:15, archived)
# hehe.
I've had an M5 since 1998 and a Nissan Skyline R34 ( my second now ) since 1999 and funnily enough only got pulled for speeding the very first time in my life last month ( just a bollocking ) and I've not lost my license since 1994. ( edit:/ age also screws with your memory as the real date is 1991 ) Age mellows you some ;)
(, Sun 12 Mar 2006, 14:19, archived)
# yes.. I must admit that age does mellow you,,,
also knowing what your car can do helps :-)

nice feeling when the boy racers pass you that you just know... pedal down = bye bye boy racer :-)

but.. we are getting our 1st fixed speed cameras now.... :-(

bugger.

over 25 years of acting the muppet on our roads.. ended

By the looks of that speedo the car is incapable of travelling slower than 8mph.
