let you put stuff on switch I think, even if you're over your overdraft.
I spect they still charge you like bastards though - try ringing them and see if they'll extend it for you.

all it does is check your rating when it authorises it. it can take up to 3 days for the money to leave your account though, so if you maxxed it in the last 48 hours, you might be able to use it.
