# Press save
Save as a png also
(, Wed 28 Feb 2007, 22:49, archived)
# Save as a .gif or .png
and tick the transparency option ;)
/think it's under "save for web"

# depends what you're saving
save for web

select gif as file type and it should have a transparency checkbox me thinks

# you might also need to hide the background layer if you've selected to have a coloured background
(, Wed 28 Feb 2007, 22:51, archived)
# save for web,
then as a .png, then tick transparency. i think

# select everything EXCEPT what you want to be transparent*
copy it
create a new transparent layer
delete the current layer
paste

*or select the transparent bits, right-click and invert selection

edit: I missed the point a little, there
