To view in 3D, focus upon the white line in the middle and cross your eyes until the pictures overlap. This illusion works by having your right eye focussed on the left picture (which is rendered from the perspective of the right eye) and vice versa. Your eyes perceive depth by viewing a scene from two slightly different angles:

Little more detailed instructions.
Sit 2-3 feet away from your monitor, and ensure it is directly facing you. Align your head directly infront of the central line of the image. Allow your eyes to begin to cross slowly. As your vision doubles, the left image and the right image should split into two. Allow the instances of the robot approaching eachother to overlap perfectly. Your eyes will try to focus at this point, but don't allow them. At first the image may seem blurred, but if you gently allow your eyes to adjust, you should see the image with a perception of depth.
