# I understand the words
But not what this is about

But I have a spare woo, so it's all yours :)
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:26, archived)
# are you unaware of the film clip
or the over-priced vacuous chunk of Warwickshire that is Leamington Spa?

Cheers for the woo, it's quite tangy *nibbles*
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:28, archived)
# film clip - totally unaware
Leamington Spa - know the name, but never been :)

# Film is the 300
lovely stuff, perfect example of stylised digital film making. And basically lots of semi naked men hacking each other up for 90 minutes.

check the trailers www.apple.com/trailers/wb/300/

# blahblahblahblah..seminakedmen..sold! :D
I've seen the film mentioned a lot but not seen anything about it... will give it a look-see.
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:34, archived)
# even better now i've seen a clip.
does seem a very noisy film though.
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:36, archived)
# it's well worth seeing at the flicks
beautifully done, a little shallow and the acting isn't the best ever, but possibly the best battle sequences on film
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:39, archived)
# all of this.
it's executed marvellously but the writing at some points is painful.
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:43, archived)
# I concur but having said that
it was not half bad on my Plasma by way of DVD screener plus I could laze around in my pants drinking beer. Try that at your local multiplex.
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:43, archived)
# is that the one with the wrong music?
(uses the Gladiator soundtrack in places)

You can never trust pirates, especially for the sound.
(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:46, archived)
# no, actually
it is a proper studio screener, with black and white sectors and 'property of blah blah' appearing now and again. I get a lot of screeners passed on to me.

#
haven't been to a cinema in years, i always find the bloody volume's too damn loud, and i can't have a cuppa and a fag while i'm watching, so i tend to wait for stuff to appear on the telly and odds are i'll forget it's on and miss it.

ta for the tip.

(, Fri 6 Apr 2007, 20:29, archived)
# I'm sort of down the road
