the PC/Mac ad was immediately followed by an Intel advert basically stating that you could do everything like a Mac!
I mean who is right? (not that I'll be caring about any nerdy answers posted here)

A PC can do everything a MAc can do in just as good a manner. A Mac can't do half the things a PC can do and it doesn't do it at twice the price. Hope that helps.

I had the misfortune to have to spend some months with a G4.
Edit:// I wish someone would resurrect the idea Commodore had of a RISC based amiga with dedicated chip architecture running whatever OS you threw at it including MAC and Windows at the same time if you want. It would be running at vastly reduced clock speeds yet outperforming anything on the market today.
The technology was there 10 years ago and I'm sure everyone would want one.

you just need a mac running windows aswell and then you can do everything. or just use windows...i dunno...I personally have no use for a mac no matter how much they pay two of my favorite comedians to whore themselves towards a corporate brand *scourns*

Right!
I understand it all now
Its all marketing stuff to make sure that comedians eat scones with good manners through the window.
Off to PC world for me! Do they sell Macs there?

some kind of futuristic hybrid combination of the two would be best, with 3d goggles or something for the internet in 3d. Apple and Microsoft need to get their heads together and sort this out, pronto.
