# Good job.
nice touch on the water. It's always good to get the spatter brushes out ;)

That reminds me. I used to have a set of brushes set up just for this sort of thing. I seem to have lost them. Ah well.

# Brushes?
Ya big wuss, I do it all by hand
(, Sat 12 May 2007, 2:16, archived)
# eh?
you still have to use a brush to paint, even if it's just for plain strokes. All I meant was I'd set up brushes and saved them for this kind of work to save time. I do that for every kind of work. Have all my inking brushes saved and also actions recorded and assigned to F keys for stroking etc. Just cuts down on the key presses. I don't see it as wussy, just being efficient.

Time was it would take me all day just to ink a sketch. I can do a decent job in an hour now.

# I thought you were on about those fancy arse pre-made blood and grime brushes
I can't be having with that nonsense
(, Sat 12 May 2007, 2:32, archived)
# nah, just on about jitter and spacing etc.
I got fed up of making new brushes every piece I worked on ( especially for the digital painting stuff ).

It's amazing the time you can save if you get your tools, swatches and palletes set up. I could not do shit with it about 18 months ago and I've just signed up for the adobe certified expert exams.
