The music wasn't to my taste really, but then I'm not very open-minded when it comes to music.
Animation and acrobatics and the fighting scenes were excellent but the story takes a while to get going.

I saw Monkey in Manc on Sunday, saw the BBC Doc last night, It's Jaw Droppingly Amazing! I've never seen or heard ANYTHING like it! Hewlett's Design & Albarn's music work perfectly, go see it in Paris next month!!! :D

The local pub cartoonist has a monkey mask he found at the opp shop and regularly puts the line "Tripitaka! You poofter!" in his comic strip that is published in a street press magazine in Melbourne each week. Photo of said cartoonist with a monkey mask here:
