So fab I feel bad for what I'm about to do. But fuck it.

THREADJACK!

Anybody know anything clever about iPods? Mine seems to have given up, its come up with an error symbol and a link to the apple support pages, and the computer won't recognise it to restore it or nothing. Anybody feeling clever?

I've heard that happens when the drive 'sticks'
and can be cured with percussive maintenance.
Not just a joke to make it break further, honest.

Unhappy face sign came up and you could hear the drive sticking. It then proceded to crash my PC every time I plugged it in to reinstall the software. Tried it on my parents PC a few weeks later and luckily itunes recognised it, offered to reinstall it, and it's worked fine since.

So I fixed it more by luck than judgement to be honest! Good Luck!

Its a little folder symbol with an exclamation mark, and a link to the apple support pages underneath. Very worrying indeed.
