i don't like what she does, much, but i don't find her hateful or unoriginal. she's actually a relief from the crap pop that is all over the place. and, she had the dap kings as her studio band for a record, which is about as far from crap as one can get. as for not hearing about her, the best reply to that is:she's never heard of you, either (paraphrasing standard indie rock retort).

and as far as crap challenges go, we've just had the most idiotic of all (elvis) and a perectly good one ruined by stupid entries (AIDS). in light of that, screw the challenges - post funny/good pics and if you happen to have a good idea that makes sense for the compo, click the little box. or don't.
