it wasn't cliquey it was hilarious
anyone was free to join, we all bounced off each other.. I can see how it was a little bit daunting but it wasn't cliquey. edit: not half as fucking cliquey as daytimes here.

I couldn't agree with this more
Daytime does indeed have a clique that I can see why can be daunting to people trying to fit in

I don't think it's cliquey

The same could be said of your opinion of the old evening shift not being cliquey
But I agree that there is a clique during the day. I think a year or two passed between my first and second posts.

haha I know
I'm just being pestiferous, b3ta is a community it follows social rules, and it's natural for people to group... I always pride myself on being a likeable bastard and being polite to new people.

I don't think so
I always try to be nice to noobs. Even when everyone else is flaming them.

the cliques are only evident when people start spamming the board with crap memes
it then splits into the various pro and anti meme cliques

you're clearly wrong, flap is exactly what the board needed, people bouncing off one another and doing some genuinely hilarious pictures

Here speaks the erstwhile promoter of various faultering memes
such as the magic tree car deodoriser, and that grinning cartoon penguin.

The cliques are evident when boarders go over the top with the *hugs* *smooches* 'hello you' bit excessively
and ignore other user's work or comments, just because they are new to b3ta, or haven't got pissed with them at a bash. Given I have a job i'm genuinely usually to busy to notice it, or give a toss, given i've seen it constantly for five years. I think Rob has hinted in the past it pisses him off as well.

this is my issue
we need chat not internet pandering talk I think was invented to move all the smooching and hugging and fiddling stuff onto another board and keep the chat and pictures on the main board. I'm only guessing though.
