# Slightly updated
I'm a bit late back, but hey, I was walking. Cut me some slack, Jack.

Bit more blur, better sky, more colours and such like.
MEH, I'm done with it for now..
I may have buggered up the file,

but otherwise YEAH!
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 2:38, archived)
# Someone else has mentioned that
I need to fiddle a LOT with it to make it work..

I may do it another day and update it yet again.

For NOW.. I'm tipsy and finished with him.

He can plod for a bit before I fix his movement speedz =]

(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 2:46, archived)
# I rubbed him with oil
But that wasn't because he needed it.

I was just feeling a little...

Well, you know...

Everyone knew it, don't worry.

I just have the cajones to say it..

My other money would have been on Bowie or someone with sexy ears...
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 3:08, archived)
# actually...
i was thinking of watching labyrinth again, but the dvd sticks. he looks so damn sexy in that twinkly blue jacket, but i'm in more of a kai mood tonight. hell, i want to download celebrities onto blank robots!

# Best. Futurama episode. Ever.

they should have killed the vampire with electro gonorrhoea, the noisy killer ;)
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 3:27, archived)
# Haha
Oh I LOVED Futurama

I think I liked that it stopped though.

The Simpsons and Family Guy were funny for a while before they realised they had to start TRYING to make jokes, instead of just coming up with them.

Futurama was just so free flowing and entertaining, it was never forced comedy like the later series of other cartoons.

My god I miss it though.

Pure class =]

it still makes me cry at the end when they play "don't forget about me".

parasites lost is a close second.

# That's an interesting term
I like it so much (And I'm bored beyond any recognisable level) that I may just try and fix it now...

Gonna take a while of experimentation, and not much recognition as people say "Urgh, I've seen this 3 times today..", but I suppose it will be worth it eventuallyyyy =]
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 3:06, archived)
# Of course it will
I don't think anyone round here worth talking to has ever minded nursing a project to completion. We know the toil involved...

Good luck.

I really should go to bed, but I'm past tired now...
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 3:12, archived)
# if you're past tired, you get to go back to the start.
this means you don't have to go to bed.

If you kept the background moving at a steady rate, and had his body moving forwards and backwards relative to the screen, it might look betterer.

edit: like this except not shit:

# I've been working on it
Unfortunately, I've done it (to a degree) and realised I actually need to create a very small tiling background.

Otherwise, I need to make it about 150 frames long.

And by FUCK am I doing that...
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 3:31, archived)
# yeah, small tiling bgs are the best way,
make it the same width as the distance as he moves and it will loop nicely

=P

What program did you use for your pixeltastic stuff? =]
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 4:15, archived)
# the same + graphics gale
you did that in photoshop?! that's pretty amazing.
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 4:20, archived)
# Is graphics gale for the pixelating?
I've never looked in to getting something for stuff like that, but always wanted to.

And thankee =]

I don't have many programs, so I just stick with what I gots.

ALSO...

I've finished the rhino and background, but not sure whether or not I should whack it in a new thread =P

I've done 2 already, would a third be pushing it?

This one has just had lots of conversation that it seems it might not get the criticism I need for it right now...
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 4:25, archived)
# all the twats are sleeping at this time of the night, so you'll be fine :D
Yeah it's purely for pixeling and animation.
There's a free version here www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/

the free one doesn't let you save as gif, but you can save as avi and load that into imageready ;)
(, Sun 30 Sep 2007, 4:35, archived)
