# Changing your uploaded pics to something like goatse is a shitty thing to do
because you are punishing everybody who happens to read that website, rather than the person who stole the picture.

People will leech and steal images all the time - it's just part and parcel of putting stuff up on the internet and not really worth getting angry about.

If it really bothers you and the stuff is hosted on your own webspace, use htaccess to stop people linking to your stuff.

[edit] Also, did you ask permission from the owner of the goatse photo before you stole it and put it up on your webspace?

# I feel that
changing images that are leeched f4rom your website is absolutely the correct thing to do ( although I agree that using htaccess should be a no brainer ) but it is the manner in which you do it that counts.
Using shock images is just silly, coming up with something original that both embarrasses the leecher but makes it clear to all who see it that the guy is a bandwidth and image thief is the way to go.

Complaining that people leech an image from a free hosting account, what's more an account that provides all visitors with common forms of useable links because they actively encourage such linking for their business model is just a bit of cockmunching.

# I also found pictues of mine linked to forums and it ate lots of my bandwidth
I got lots of lol and I was happy :)
I tagged pics that I forgot to.

extra £30 a year for more gigs - no worries.

# I changed one of my images that was regularly appearing on myspace
to a simple text image saying: 'I AM A BANDWIDTH THIEF'... that was about 12 months ago and the image is still used just as much! (which causes a LOL)
At least it's now only 1Kb a time.
