[challenge entry] go easy....... virgin
I hope it's not been done before. I would also like tips on compression.

I've never seen it done before though that doesn't mean it hasn't... Can't help on compression though, I don't know what half the tools do yet! Pull up a kitten and make yourself at home :)

great blurb mate. on compression, if your using photoshop, press alt, ctrl, and shift with s, and you will be able to save for web, the box on the right hand size lets you choose lossy setting etc which will make the pic smaller, same thing for ani gifs.

losless, and basically it means that at 0 lossy, you lose no bits in compression, and at the highest youll see that the pic is all fuzzy and distorted where the proggy has tried to blend colours and suchlike.
