# Brandon Boyd.

Doing this picture ruined Incubus for me a little bit. :/
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:39, archived)
# is he the singer?
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:42, archived)
# Yeah.
I dunno why, but listening to Incubus, I got a feeling of them being only about the music. As soon as I saw pictures, I realised that, yeah, they're just another image-obsessed band. :[
Or they look that way.

# listen to/look at the early stuff

# Oh, okay.
I only have A Crow Left Of The Murder, but it is one of my favorite albums.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:45, archived)
# It is a good album, but for me that marked the point where their music changed from incredible down to awesome
go for S.C.I.E.N.C.E, or even Fungus Amongus if you can get hold of it.

Although be prepared, they're nothing like Crow. They're much better.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:46, archived)
# Oh, okay.
Yeah, I'll definately get my hands on those.

You also seem to think Flap is good. You are wrong.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:49, archived)

BUT IT'S ALL LIES!

You used to be cool.

Hmm.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:54, archived)
# I didn't say I don't like you.
I just don't respect you in the way I used to.

I'd better add a smiley face so you don't think I'm being serious :)
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:57, archived)

I wasn't either!

mr horrible was being serious, though.

(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:51, archived)
# Yes, those two albums are also good :D
They're all good, I just think the first two are the best.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:54, archived)
# heh
it's rare that your and my musical taste agree, but I do like Incubus. Particularly Stellar.
I think they are head and shoulders above most of the same genre of band, and are possibly less image obsessed than most.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:44, archived)
# I agree.
But, like, I love listening to a band and never knowing what they look like or anything, otherwise it usually spoils it a little bit. So in my head, they were completley about the music and nothing else, but they're not anymore.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:46, archived)
# Thanks to this thread
I'm not going to make the same mistake.

Use it more, looks good =]
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:43, archived)
# Hahah
thanks! I think I actually used smudge, though. :]
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:44, archived)
# Oh whatever.
Both make it blurry =]

I love the smudge tool.

Smudge, brush, erase, dodge and burn are basically the only tools I use.

Probably not a good thing though...
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:47, archived)
# Hahahah
That's fine, I'm sure. I use brush, smudge, erase, and dodge. Never tried burn.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:48, archived)
# Burn is nice.
Burn and dodge are great fun, I'm still not that good at using them, but they are really useful for shading =]

I always use a reeeeally low exposure though, just to get extra control.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:49, archived)
# Hmm
okay. I'll remember that. I use dodge for putting shine into hair. I'll have to try burn, too.
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:51, archived)
# Burn and dodge was basically all I used on solid colour
For things like that Simon Pegg picture and a couple of other ones. It's greeeeeat =]
(, Sat 2 Feb 2008, 16:52, archived)
# I use brush, smudge, eraser, blending modes and an array of filters.
Also, did you see the tracing I did of my friend last night?

# I saw it
was good
