So, tell me of this gig putting on thing...

As in the gigs I'm putting on meself?
Well, there's one on the 9th of July that we've got all the bands for now...
After that it's September 11th, and yes, I suggested the obvious flyer image. We've got one band, kind of shouty indie thing, but looking for more...
What I'd really like to do is get your lot on with someone noisy like Part Chimp, but they're not getting back to me...

-Sort of post-metal in the ISIS, Pelican, Una Corda (yay Brum) style
-fucking LOUD. Seriously. I turned my amp up to 4 yesterday, for a laugh.
-Lovely, cuddly little creatures. Well, I am.

I am surprisingly stealthy for a man of my size, and when turned up to 4 can still sneak past and adorable snoozing doormouse without a-wakening him.

That was meant to look like a devil-horns-type-rock-salute but it just looks like I want to say IBM and am a shift-less spacker who can't spell.
P.s. how does one do BIG text on /board? <big> works on preview but not on board.

Subscriptsmall normal and superscript as well as bold and italic, but not large apparently.*

You'll never be as loud as My Bloody Valentin on friday though...
128.9 decibels...
That's obscene.
But yes, when we have appropriate bands to put you on with, you're coming to London and being damn well paid for the privelege. :)

Hah, I thought you'd say that about MBV- I wouldn't know. Yes, the myspace files were crap, bloody filesize limits. We can't help making songs that are too long....

MBV - the equivalent of standing inside a jet engine at take off. They did a noise thing for 20-30 minutes at the end at that volume. Incredible.
I always listen to the song and not the mp3 quality, and I enjoyed the song. As I said to KM, 9/11 half b3ta bash / gig?

although I can't foresee a problem- when I mentioned it yesterday they seemed up for it.
Could be that they weren't listening though, they never bloody listen to me. Or stop noodling. Buggers.
I love them, but they're noisy icky boys. BLEURGH.

If he's up for it then it'll be a kind of b3ta gig with shouty indie headliners, so that the others can pile into the drinks... :)

that way you don't get all the indie kids fucking off once something heavier comes on...
Perhaps a Prof / Cap'n double header, make it into a B3ta event and pack the place tho...
Hmmm...
Get yourself a drummer, the combo of two fine b3ta bands and that date is too good an opportunity to miss.

I'm definitely interested, and I'm pretty sure they'll be too, providing we can get a drummer by then.
We may not have enough stuff to be part of a double-header though, might need to go on a little earlier...

that way the b3tans can pile into the booze once they've played and see out the evening in safety.
