They were the UK's answer to The Jackson 5.

I would like to point out that none of the bands I listed are my faves.

Some bands I really like though are:
Postal Service
Ryan Adams
Jeff Klein
Afghan Whigs
Lindisfarne
Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys
The Who
The Clash
The Libertines
The Cure

I am also rather fond of Classical Music too, particularly SHostakovich and Prokofiev.
