what poor films has Jack Black made recently?... almost everything after school of rock
- Envy (very poor)
- King Kong ... I didn't actually see, but I heard it was abysmal
- Nacho Libre ... alright ish
- Tenacious D the pick of destiny ... so poor I wanted to cry myself to sleep
- The Holiday ... my Girlfriend said it was watchable, which means shit
- Be Kind Rewind ... had Mos Def in it as an actor. Mos Def was better than Jack Black.

Havent seen Envy, King Kong,or The Holiday.
But I enjoyed the other 3 for mind numbing frivolity.
However, he will never have a role that surpasses Lance in Orange County :)

he was great in that... I'm just not sure what it is -- after School of Rock he's really fallen off... he just seems to do contract fillers; probably so someone would let him make Tenacious D - for which I will NEVER forgive him.
Toasty says this film is good so hopefully it's a return to form
