# Yep
Referring to the shortest distance through a nest of singularities on the notorious Kessel spice smuggling lane. The Falcon's speed and maneuverability enabled it to cut a more direct route through this challenging part of space than any other vessel, thereby claiming the record.

# bollocks

also - the answer Han gives is in response to a question about whether the ship is fast or not...

# so is the fact that unless you bend space back over itself you can't go a distance of 18pc in 12pc.

# Work's a bit quiet at the moment...
Didn't Lucas put out some spurious crap about Han cutting the trip short by going through an asteroid belt, therefore a unit of distance thing being more of a demonstration of its manouevrability, and not speed, or something?

Edit: Ignore me, the above answer was at once more concise and more geeky. I bow to your skills.

# You can't trawl the web for Falcon trivia without stumbling across that little nugget...
