# this is absoloutely fucking amazing
what type of brush do you use?
(, Fri 11 Jul 2008, 23:47, archived)
# I make my brushes on the fly
depending upon what effect I want and I use very low opacity and often lots of jitter.
I save all my brushes but I'm a bit lax with naming them. I'll give them a sort out tomorrow and zip a few up.

# Nice job...
'Mind telling me what tablet you use...? I'm in the market for a bigger & better one than my old Wacom, and, after a failed attempt to discuss on /talk (as Dekionplexis IV will attest) I figured I'd ask someone slightly more civil and educated...

hahahahaha

# I'm using an intuos
3 wide but if I recall I probably did the above on my trusty old Graphire 3 XL.

best advice I can give is get the biggest pressure sensitive tablet you can afford. Wacom if you can.
(, Fri 11 Jul 2008, 23:36, archived)
# Thanks...
and, are you using Pshop, Painter, Illustrator...all of the above?
(, Fri 11 Jul 2008, 23:38, archived)
# All
Tools of choice Are Painter X. CS3 Design Premium. Project Dogwaffle pro and Paint Shop Photo X2. I have Fireworks and Flash but rarely fire them up, which limits me in animation so I should get around to them eventually.

# Does not matter mate.
Works just the same, just requires a different technique. No reason not to be able to do similar things though.

# To be honest, I don't fully know how to use both PShop and my tablet
to their potential.
(, Fri 11 Jul 2008, 23:50, archived)
# do you?
you should pea your pics at every opportunity then, let us all see again. :D

But seriously, I fucking love the majority of them, but Bowie is particularly special.
