# that's not a heart monitor that's a cro.
infact it looks like the same model as the one I used to use
ed: ah no, mine had a floppy drive as well.

# You could have been a bit more Alan Partridge-esque..
"THATS ONE GLARING ERROR THERE"...

"Like when people say Tannoy, insteads of public address system"..

"See any upset Zombies around here?"

# I just hope no one points out that it's a digital 'scope
and not technically a cro.
(, Wed 23 Jul 2008, 11:31, archived)
# again with the inconsistencies.
That's clearly and old analogue scope with a crt which would make it a cro.
(, Wed 23 Jul 2008, 11:35, archived)
# alright alright.
I keep thinking of it as a tectronkix scope not a fluke.

# I have a couple in my garage
and thought it would be impolite to say. Just what do you think a heart monitor is made of anyway. It's still an oscilloscope even if the CRT versions are a bit old now.

# I know how heart monitors work. *
and they're more specialised than a fluke oscilloscope.

I suppose I shouldn't be so pedantic.

*Arguably my field could be described as 'medical physics' but that's stretching it.

# I'm just more of a pedant
as I served my time in TV and Audio electronic servicing so have played with ( and fixed ) enough scopes to last me a lifetime.
(, Wed 23 Jul 2008, 11:41, archived)
# I've had enough experimental research physics to know I don't want to see a scope for a while
(, Wed 23 Jul 2008, 11:45, archived)
# I used to repair hysteroflators and flexible urethroscopes if that counts for anything
(, Wed 23 Jul 2008, 11:45, archived)
# uuuuuurggggggggggghhhhhhhhh
strangly enough although things like goatse and some fairly bad porn doesn't effect me. but I hate the thought of medical proceedures.
