it's why I get online support and tickets for seminars that I forget to go to. I'm not too happy about the FLEXnet licensing that I'm forced to run as a service by Autodesk but I don't have much choice.
I buy because I can, not an overly moral obligation to. That's my stance really. Pay for everything that you can and support developers. I can not get too upset though when there are talented people out there without a pot to piss in and they don't pay for their copy of photoshop. I'd like to think if they ever made any money in the future they would have the decency to buy a license.

You have doen nothing wrong whatsoever. However, it is always a good idea to read the FAQ just for some of the recommendations. And also, as always, just look at the board, you should get to know what goes down well and what doesnt pretty quickly. If you want to see what doesnt go down well, pop in on a Tuesday :)
