This evening I have mostly been listening to Elbow and Bloc Party and rejoicing with a couple of glasses of Peach Champagne.
I have also been sticking SuperDave stickers all over the place. (Anyone else who wants to send me stickers to cheer me and my environment up feel fre :D)
What have you been listening to and feeling, drinking and doing!

I think we may disagree ;)
Appletiser is the win of non alcoholic beverages! Closely followed by Nesquik!

But I do quite like them :)
I still remember the joys of listening to Califronication for the first time after I had bought the cassette from MVC :)

That it is that time of the night when antipodian homosexuals join the board.
EDIT: Listening to the soothing hum of my system fan, feeling the lump behind my ear, drinking tea and pissing around on Gmod.

I am tired and happy though, because Vans Warped Tour is tomorrow. I'm bringing my camera. I got a hair cut. I have bubblegum.

The end. xD

The woman who took our order looked worn and tired and couldn't manage a smile, and in fact taking our order seemed to exhaust her.
I hadn't been in this particular diner for years, and I'd forgotten what a nice space it is. The dining area is split into two. The second part is slightly sunken and you have to go down a few steps to get to it, which makes the whole place seem bigger but cosier somehow. With the right decor it could actually look pretty classy... but what they've actually chosen to decorate the walls with are 'humorous' clipart chickens and other cartoony animals complete with speech bubbles and omg-so-funny text. It really brings the tone down.
As we left, the terminally disappointed woman suddenly became much more animated and cheerful "You have a GREAT evening!". I realized that this is a fairly common pattern in New Jersey... that switch between seemingly pissed off and suddenly cheerful and friendly. Kk seems to think her change of mood was due to the fact that we were leaving and she wouldn't have to deal with us any more.

They aren't too fond of us Brits in New Joisey.
When I was in NJ City on business a couple of years back I got rather abused by the staff in a bar. What made it even more Ironic though, was that it was an Irish bar :D
