# Well I know
Anyone around here is going to hiss on me for this one, but I can no longer stand this guy.

Sorry.. I'm used to give my straight opinion.

# those colours should not be used together they clash so horribly
sorry.. I'm not used to giving my straight opinion

# Those who can't say anything nice shouldn't say anything at all.
Sorry, etc.

# Why is he a whiner?
Because he got penalised 25 seconds when at most he gained a second from a situation that he could do nothing about?
(, Thu 11 Sep 2008, 21:32, archived)
# Didn't he give the place straight back as well?
(, Thu 11 Sep 2008, 21:35, archived)
# Exactly.
This would not have happened at all if Raikonnen hadnt spun out.
(, Thu 11 Sep 2008, 21:36, archived)
# he did
i say he deserved the win

# Too fucking right!
He did nothing wrong whatsoever! He only cut the corner to avoid taking himself and Raikonnen out!

# that ^

# I can't remember someone being penalised for cutting a corner and then giving back a place
and he tucked in straight behind where he was before the corner anyway.
(, Thu 11 Sep 2008, 21:37, archived)
# In My Humble Opinion
He hgained advantage by cutting the chicane, he was 6 kmh slower (haug said), but he was about 5m behind raikkonen before the bend, then he was too damn close after the cut.

So: by considering ham not guilty, you should consider any chicane cutting legitimate.

# He gave the place back to Raikkonen
then legitimately took it back (numerous times) later in the race. And, he kept it on the road all the way to the end. The only whining is by Ferrari for lodging the complaint.

# .
the problem, is NOT the position gived back, but the ADVANTAGE he had by cutting the chicane.
(, Thu 11 Sep 2008, 21:45, archived)
# You mean the advantage HE GAVE BACK?

# .
No.

# He was all over his tail pipe up to the corner and would have easily passed anyway.

Take off your tear stained prancing horse polo shirt and get over it.

# No sir..
I dont have any of the 25 tears dropped.

# If McLaren had lodged exactly the same complaint,
they would have been shot down straight away. The fact of the matter is that they are still being shafted for last year!

I would not be at all surprised if Raikonnen spun out deliberately, just so Massa would get a couple more points and be closer to Hamilton at least, knowing full well that the team would launch a complaint with the stewards.

surf to autosport dot com, browse for "Q & A with Lewis Hamilton" , in particular : "If you don't have the balls to brake late then that is your problem!"

# spoken like a true professional F1 driver

# I totally agree.
If he has more cojones then the other drivers, then he fucking well deserves the wins he gets! But you only have to look at last year, when he crashed out to see when it loses him points! If he drove like a boring tard a la Schumacher, Button, Massa have done recently, he would have won last year no problem! But he wont settle for second place when he knows there is a chance he could finish first!
