My daughter's godfather, Tom is epileptic. I sometimes forget and take photographs with him present.

I am fully aware of the repercussions. I see them in Tom and I used to see them in Peter before he died.

I ask Tom to leave the room so that I can take my pictures.

Also: if I'm one person and lots of other people are having fun but I'm unable to join in, I'll just let them have their fun rather than trying to stop it. It isn't at my expense if the fun keeps going after I turn the other cheek. It seems like the right thing to do is leave them be.

no matter how much you shout at people there are going to be flashing images on b3ta, therefore the only way someone with epilepsy can be sure to avoid them is to not come here.

More broadly speaking, I would strongly suggest anyone with epilepsy TURN OFF FUCKING GIF ANIMATION.
