# Any American
who wished for the return of the Republicans for the last term is decidedly unstable. Any American who would welcome the return of the Republicans for a third term is an insular buffoon and ought to be neutered for the good of mankind.

I find it astounding that these right-wing fascists still have absolutely no concept of their image to the rest of the world ( or even worse, they really do not give a a shit ).

# it's entirely inconceivable that a sane person could possibly disagree with you
the republican movement is not some fly-by-night small organisation, it is the majority of the population.
americans (on the whole) are rabidly right-wing,because that is how american society is set up.
yes, there is a huge (slightly more) liberal population keeping them mostly in check, but really, the whole country is fucked.

# Those damn fools will vote 'values' every time
never mind that the Republican economic policies are ruining them financially...it's all about 'values'. Idiot rednecks.

# "it is the majority of the population"
Interesting comment given that the Democrats won the popular vote.

# I think that their image to the rest of the world is irrelevant.
I personally do not appreciate the politics of a lot of countries around the world, but that is why I don't live there.

However, watching Jon Snow's America last night, I can't help but feel that certain Republicans are extremely backward in their world view and with the power that they currently wield, are dangerous for everyone in the world.

# When the country sets itself
up, unopposed, as the world police, then their image to the rest of the world should be paramount.
I don't want the US election to concern me in the slightest, however it does and I have no say in the matter.

neutering people for various reasons also a tad right-wing?

# Yes.
but irony is wasted on the Americans.

That depends - the Swedes only stopped neutring people as unfit to breed in the late 1990s, and most people see them as lefties.
