I'll have to save them for another day though. Sleepy time for me!

# Loser ;)
Actually, you came up in discussion earlier.

Was it you that had an L Plate and an icon?
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:34, archived)
# No sir
I have seen it happen a couple of times before though
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:35, archived)
# Ah ok then.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:36, archived)
# I think whoever takes California is going to win.
From what I can see of the current layout of things.

Though they've basically just said that the four west coast states always vote democrat and thus he's won for certain.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:35, archived)
# 200-90...
would be ok if CA. was worth 100+ votes...
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:39, archived)
# If CA went to McCain, along with Texas and Florida (which is about 51 to 49 for Obama at the moment)
Then McCain would be on 206 as far as my mental arithmatic tells me.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:42, archived)
# California will not go to McCain.
He has Texas now, which is the second biggest vote counter.

It is all over bar the shouting I think....
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:46, archived)
# Bless you Obama
For you have delivered us from Palin.

Do the third party candidates get fuck all then? Even if they get a state, is there even a Member of parliment equivalent that even makes it vaguely worth their while?
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:49, archived)
# They would get a state if they had an overall majority.
But there will probably be a couple of "other" Governors or Senators. The US system is very different from the UK's.

Imagine the councils and Government being directly linked and such, if you know what I mean.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:52, archived)
# There is not a chance
that California will go for McCain.

A lot of the individual counties are very conservative, but they are completely outweighed by a huge population in the liberal cities.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:48, archived)
# Exactly.
Florida surprised me though.

Particularly the democrats taking Orange County.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:53, archived)
# Alright don't all jump on the beat Jeru to death with his own words bandwagon.
I was only speaking numerically.
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:56, archived)
# Gah, they're taking far too long, I'm off to bed
Someone wake me up when Obama wins?
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 2:59, archived)
# Gaz me your mobile number and I will phone you and
scream at you at th einjustice of it all ;)
(, Wed 5 Nov 2008, 3:08, archived)
# Ha ha ha!
We aren't ;)

It is just a fact that the western states, California, Washington and such are all staunch Democrat.
