I have a 1964 split screen camper, which is worth a bit, but not as much as an Audi A6, for example.

A new car is normally worth more actual cash than an old one, just because of demand.

most of the old cars have fallen apart too. They are easier to mend, but they aren't terribly good.

Bear (roar!) in mind that I have pretty much always had vintage vehicles until now (Delica is pretty fucking basic though!)

That's not so much of a leap.

Reminds me of my first side-car. I built that out of chipboard at first and went nowhere - the aluminium version must still be around somewhere.

(it was on the back of a trailor ready to be repaired) I pushed on the brake pedal and my foot went through the floor and i rolled off down the hill, grabbing the handbrake which did nothing at all :D - only stopped by 4 mates jumping infront and hanging on the bumper!
