especially because i (typically) have never seen their work. but then again a challenge of "bill leak* fell of a balcony last week**, make him feel better" wouldn't have gone down well either.

His cartoons weren't that great. I mean, he came out with one pretty much every day for fuck knows how many years, but I'd hardly describe him as an influence.
