Internet fatties is a general term to describe people who frequent messageboards such as this,

not an insult.
I'm well aware of the fact that people have lives outside the internet and aren't all fat.

Well I wouldn't take it as a general term,

and I don't think most people would.

The fact of the matter is, that HappyToast made a comment about your friends clothes being very similar to the kind of thing that Russell Brand wears, you called him a cunt, and then you started ranting over fuck all.

I wouldn't say that is a personal attack

necessarily at all. More a comment on the "individuality" of teenagers. It has been the case since the 70s.

However, calling someone a cunt is most definitely a personal insult.
