# wouldn't it have been easier to say I want this phone (the one you really wanted)
and stay on the same contract, I'm sure they would have gotten it for you.

# ^this, they will generally bend over backwards if you say you can get the phone you want with another company
/works with orange anyway.

If you're on contract though, best thing to do is ring up the support line and ask them.

# Yes, I suppose so.
I guess I just don't want to admit that I'm not using the snazzy new phone I bartered so hard to get, silly really, I'm sure there's nothing in the contract that states you have to use the phone they provided.

# mr b3th does it all the time
He likes big phones that don't have cameras and music and stuff, but the provider keeps sending him flashy tiny phones with knobs on.

He just sells them and keeps on with the phone he has.

The contract you have is for the sim, not the phone. They just give you phones so you'll use their sim. Don't worry about selling the new one. Whoever you sell it to will register it.

# Yeah, it would, but they don't do the phone
None of the networks do. I'm on the same contract, just renewed it and got a new phone.
