Yeah, I've been using it for a while now
It obviously has its limitations, but for what it is (i.e. free! and available!), it's pretty fucking stunning

It's basically just a slower reacting version of photoshop.

That's a rather silly generalisation, isn't it?
There are lots of smaller software companys that aren't producing large audience products.
