# I've talked to the director
I was pissed and confused... he didn't seem that appreciative of the magnificence of my pissed up candence*.

although one of the lasses who was in The Decent, who was with him, seemed more engaged in my banterous wonderment... but then again she is an actress...

Yay horror film festivals :D

*EDIT: although memory has just kicked in and this could easily of been because I may of said that I had no idea who he was untill someone told me... :D

# Hahaha
I have a feeling you'll need to be pissed to truly appreciate it but I have no problem with that. Roll out of the pub about midnight, go see LVK, kebab, home. Sounds like a great night

# there was a 5 min preview during said horrorfilm festival, frightfest,
the footage that was shown was pretty funny... also I appreciate the directors honest when I asked him "why lesbian vampire killers?"

"Money... it will make all the 16 year old boys want to go and see it."

# There's a joke in there somewhere...
But my sleep deprived mind can't quite connect the dots...

# Great film. Properly scary.

# Especially given that a lot of the scares are signposted miles off...
And yet when they finally arrive, you still jump...

[Rec] was good for that as well...

# ^this with particularly shiney bells on
so good that the americans started remaking it before it had even been released in their country..

Quarantine is their version. I have not got even the remotest of wishes to see it.

# I can't imagine it being as good if half my attention isn't absorbed by reading subtitles...
and also, everything's always set in bloody America, [Rec] is scary precisely because it's clsoer to home.

# Subtitles?
(, Fri 30 Jan 2009, 16:28, archived)
# [Rec] is a Spanish film...
And thus features a very pretty lady babbling away in the language of... erm... piella.

It is also fucking scary.
