# MONKEY BEER O'CLOCK!
(, Tue 3 Feb 2009, 10:17, archived)
# I went snow boarding last night.
I also suffered puncture wounds from tray tobogganing and breaking the tray and tried sledging on my coat on the city wall, which hurt a lot the first time and yet was something which I could be convinced to attempt a second time.

3 up on a snow board was fun, as was 5 up on the back panel from a Land Rover.

Everyone should be forced to snowboard.

# i've snowboarded several times
and broken several ribs. i shall stick to skiing, at which i'm good.

# Snow boarding I have never done before.
I fancy that, on a proper snow board or a wake board with an edge like this:

it is not too bad, but on a sand board:

it was quite scary. I am VERY sore.

# it's a bit of a mother
on either, i guess you can do it or you can't. i suspect from the sounds of your scrapes you can't. stick to sledging...
(, Tue 3 Feb 2009, 10:42, archived)
# I think probably that I can do it,
but that I went about it a little hard.

# Skiers
I saw lots of those when I was snowboarding in Bulgaria.

We referred to them as targets.

I didn't get injured at all, but then I was wearing so much armour and padding I could have been a fat stand in for Iron Man.

particularly when you are in their playground.

# also, skiing tends to be faster than boarding
so aiming for a good skiier is essentially pointless. also, skiing is a graet word as it has a double i.

# Haha The back panel of a Land Rover?
