I was asked to make a pic in my 'style'
by a friend of him and his Lady, who passed away last year. That's a big ask, so I thought i'd run it by the toughest critics on the net so i can improve it before i send it to him.
I know it is bold, but that is my style.

perhaps take some of the darkeness from around her eyes, even if that's the way she really looked
and mybe soften the chin line a little.
also, she has very large ears. Again, even if they were that big, perhaps lean a little more to the side of flattery.
Lovely stuff!~

I was thinking
her chin looked poor. And yes on the ears- I HATE drawing ears!
She was ill at this time; but the pic he sent me was the pic he obviously wanted! Difficult.

I'm not sure if I like his face
Was it particularly sweaty in the source?
I'd change that pinker colour on the brow and chin a bit to match the rest

My downfall
is i use the orig pic as a palette, trying to use the real colours as a base. You have no idea how many colours a human face has! Well maybe you do, but you know what i mean.

Well I think you've done a great job!
Clean it up a bit and they'll love it I'm sure.

you asked so..
1. top work
2. the faces don't quite match - its as if they are from two diff original images. can you lighten his face maybe's
3. Somehow it looks like you got more detail in her face but 'blended' the blokes
I could never produce work as good as this, would be chuffed if I could, but you did ask...
