I was looking forward to it. I had decided to just enjoy it for what it wasas I understand it's very difficult to transfer something like that to the big screen without 'amending' it. Sadly, I've heard about to many unnecessary changes, that by their very nature alters the whole point of the plot.

initial reports frommovie fan boys is quite good, if you can get over yourself and accept that there will be changes.
i for one am looking forward to it as it's been in development hell for so long, also it had dave gibbons on board advising, so i have a good feeling about it.

The trouble with these things isyou can't please everyone.
If they made an adaptation that kept the fanboys quiet it would make about $5million openign weekend and then no one else would go and see it.

true... I am fine with changes to make it fit, as to say, but making huge great changes to the plot seems a bit pointless.also, it's far to big to fit into one film, much like LotR was, to I expect bits to be chopped.
