putting off gong to the shop
In the hope that at some point today I'll forget all about wanting a cig forever. In the past I have tried books, gum, Paul McKenna, cold turkey & carrots (genuinely). Patches next, and then some kind of aversion therapy I think.

Last time I gave up I managed
6 weeks on the patches, with the gum for when I had a craving. Unfortunately, I went to Switzerland after those 6 weeks and you can smoke everywhere there :)
