Anyone else watch the new red dwarf on dave? Most of my childhood died along with the 'laughs' on that show :'(

What I didn't like was that they couldn't be bothered to come up with something that followed on from the last series. Any and all plot chasms were brushed away by saying it was in the "9th series"

Edit: AND I rewatched series 8 on Friday in preparation for the new eps and I thought they were excellent! FAR better than series 7
