A raptor is actually a bird.
A velociraptor was a type of dinosaur, which doesn't necessarily make it a lizard.

i looked it up the other day if scientists had finally agreed whether dinosaurs were cold or warm blooded

Sorry but
Whilst raptors and lizards are in the same class (Reptilia), they are different Orders:
Lizards (Order: Squamata, Suborder: Lacertilia)
Raptors (Superorder: Dinosauria, Order: Saurischia, Suborder: Theropoda)
Isn't wikipedia lubberly?
