Took out 2 cervical disks and fused 3 vertebrae together with a plate of titanium.
Still wearing the collar. I feel like the dog just home from the vet. Makes it hard to scratch my balls proper.

Sorry, I really am. I suffer from sciatica and that's hellish bad but nowhere close to what you must have gone through.

I had that problem about 15 years ago.
One day I tripped over a parking curb, twisted my whole body around, sciatica never returned.

be a real bitch. A guy died where I used to work falling off the ladder.
Not so much the ladder per se, 'twas the concrete floor rushing up to impact his skull.
A relief he died really, had he lived he'd been a drooler the rest of his life.
Ironically, he fell while putting up a banner during a firefighter and paramedic's conference.
There's just some injuries nobody can fix.

nearly a month. Collar should come off next week.
After that, who knows. Physical therapy and hopefully lots of time in the gym.
I'm not exactly a gym rat but I do miss the treadmill and pumping a little iron.
I miss turning my head too. Turning your full body just to cross the street is a little annoying.

Well it seems you're still alive and kicking, so to speak, so that's good :D

of time to screw around with the computer. Been cleaning up old files. Maintaining old profiles and updating email addresses.
And since it doesn't require any heavy lifting, I've been slowly renovating (painting) my kitchen.

Remember, though, if you paint on any mice (for a laugh) to let your Mrs know before she smacks the wall with a hammer.

Maybe I could do one of those scrambled 3-D pictures in just few shades near the original color.
Or I could invite everyone over for the unveiling and just tell them there's a 3-D image hidden in the wall. And laugh at them while they stare at the speckled wall for an hour.
