why are images on wimminz/hanimal type personages target for ridicule. If you find the former acceptable and the latter wrong you have big problems.

No matter how unpleasant a subject matter, if you can make a good joke about it I'm happy to see it. It contributes.
This isn't funny, isn't well executed, isn't interesting, isn't original and isn't necessary here.

90% that appear on here isn't necessary. They at least spent some time doing it.
People post goatsies on here without the comments you've made. If you want to take everything so seriously why not leave and try opne of the Daily Mail forums!

I post to amuse myself, and I don't expect anyone to take me seriously or listen to what I have to say. I judge people by unspecified and inconsistent criteria that I don't necessarily adhere to myself but will happily and vocally apply to others. I contradict myself and change my mind from one moment to the next.
I'm pretty sure everyone else does that too. But I know that I'm in the right.

But they're mostly rubbish.

I'm sure that we've swapped pleasant words in the past. I remember your name as one that I used to see at the bottom of posts containing nice things back before I followed the herds of the spackhanded to /talk.
We might disagree on the odd point here and there, but I don't want that to become the defining feature of our relationship; occasional, trivial and fleeting though it may be.

It's just the same thing that slightly annoys me about JJ.
They both post here yet they don't care about any sort of feedback, or comment on anyone else's work.
It just seems like b3ta is a place to post something and then fuck off. The artwork is good, even if I don't agree with the whole furry thing.
/all this shit coming from a lurker blog.

I see where you're coming from though. How dare people think they can have an artistic outlet on the internet regardless of their talents!

I rarely post on /board because I've no artistic skill, whatsoever.
I know I have no right to take any sort of offence, but it's just annoying when people use this place as a picture dumping site and then fuck off.

Maybe they're extremely shy about their talents or feel it's arrogant to wax lyrical about those who say their good. Maybe they're to awkard to defend their efforts.
Think about it logically. Why would someone post their stuff and then leave without seeing what people thing about it?
At the end of the day furry stuff hurts no one. I believe the technical term for someone who forces their opinion on others is fascism.
That would relate to the replies to this post, not the post itself.

Nobody is forcing opinions here - I think I'd call it a lively exchange of views. Although admittedly smatheis hasn't expressed their view yet. They can (evidently) post all the furry shit they like, and similarly we can pass judgement as we like.
It's all fun and games until a mod finds someone too annoying and puts them on the naughty step.

If you don't do your own stuff you don't have a fucking say. This is why we lobbied for the talkboard in the first place so you can have your little winge away from all the grown ups.

because it would imply that people who don't create are also not allowed to say how much they like the work of others.
Talkboard is for people who want to talk. The mainboard (imho) is for people who want to post and comment on others work.
HAVING SAID THAT, there really is no point in making comments like "that's shit", it doesn't achieve anything and your opinion of of no more value than the original post.
The internet could be this wonderful wonderful place, chock full of funny pictures, gratuitous pornography and NICE people.
when in fact, it's this:
www.topatoco.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TO&Product_Code=PFSC-INTERNET-RASP&Category_Code=
simply because people feel that being a decent human being is not relevant if you're anonymously typing away in your parents house whilst masturbating and crying.
just to be clear, i'm not aiming that at you river ghost, or anyone in particular, except obviously those that post "that's shit" to anything and everything

Feedback can be positive or negative. This is b3ta, not DeviantArt.

thus discouraging the user from posting again.
this is from a practical point of view (you wouldn't reply to spam saying you don't want any because it's shit as you know it will only encourage them to send you more)
And because not being nasty to posters is the ethos of B3ta. The site was designed to be a happy place without trolls and flames.
I know nowadays there is a lot of both, but that's because the users make it that way.
