Only curious to see if anyone on here is a big fan.
Although... I might get some pointy ears, paint my skin bluish and creep around in the shadows for a bit...

since then, I spent two days in Warhammer Online (crap) and two days in Age of Conan (even more crap)
I don't have time to go at MMOs as so many do, be WoW looks to be ok, even for a casual gamer so far...
I'll probably get bord of it in a few weeks though, as with most games :(

Played SWG in the early(ish) days, and lost months to it.
Then slowly fell out with everyone as I realised they were taking it all VERY seriously (Smile and nod, smile and nod). Stopped playing just as the first wave of big changes came in.
Haven't played an MMO since. And must say I don't really want to, but that's just me. I know lots of people that play WoW and want me to, but I have yet to install, play or even watch for more than 5 minutes.

If not at the very least download questhelper from www.curse.com

OK as I said at the very least you need quest helper.
The basics will put all iten items and people on your map but you can also have it so theres a direction arrow on your screen with the distance from the nearest quest item or person.
Means you can quest rather than running around looking for things.

He has upwards of 30 people who do nothing but sit online all day and WAIT for him to finish work and log on, to then tell them what to do. Jeeeeus, what a waste of time. Its for this reason i don't want to play it, I want to do what I want, when I want. Single player rpgs for me.

all I want to do is spend a bit of time on the odd bit of questing here and there for a laugh... I really don't get how people turn it into a whole lifestyle...

It's a slippery slope. You end up playing for a couple of months and get to level 60 so you spend fifteen squid on the Outlands expansion that gets you up to lvl 70 with such fun things as flying mounts then you buy the Northrend expansion etc etc.:P
