Yeah, last year.It's an arts course. So it's based mostly on pictures and research and such.

I got into my Uni by ringing up the Law departmentAnd asking if they had any spaces. I didn't decide I wanted to go until summer, and didn't want to wait till clearing to get it sorted :)

Clearing is great and all thatBut it can make you be a bit ohshitohshit and apply for anything. With me anyway.

That just reminded meFirst time I went to Uni I technically didn't get the grade - I needed AAA and got AABBB. It wasn't until I rang up to confirm my place that I thought about it, and had a really worried few minutes when the admissions guy said "oh you didn't get AAA? I'll have to go and check..."

I needed AAB and I got CCEIt was pretty much a given that I wouldn't get in.

Unlucky!Ultimately I benefited from taking on an extra a-level. I had a good friend who said I was a fool for doing it, but he got AAA and was turned down by 5 out of his 6 choices.
