edit: sorry, that's overly vague. i was actually wondering about the shiny metal parts in things like the R2. do you panel beat it, or cast it, or how?

this one has metal plastic cardboard wire and bits of toys, i usually scratch build but this one has seen a lot of gluegun and greeblies
