Ningles and angry TJ:
'ningles all.
My local council have officially reached the insane side of greedy. A sign has just gone up outside my door saying that from the end of next month and as part of a 'Pioneering new trial' anyone loading or unloading from the loading bay will have to pay for a permit!
If you read below it basically says if you're a small independant business then you will have to move to let large corporate deliveries in first as they can afford a special premium.

The red lines stop in that area. If you buy a red one and someone comes a long that has paid more for a green one you have to stop unloading and let the other person in.
This is obviously a vast improvement on being able to unload for free on a first come first served basis.
I think that they are saying if it works here (ie make them lots of lovely money) it will happen everywhere.

Mayor Boris Johnson today said "We think it's very unfair that people should be allowed to pollute the atmosphere by breathing it, so under the 'polluter pays' principle, we will be implementing a phased charging system for consuming the City's vital resource."
Early analyses indicate that this could cost an average user up to £6 per week, while joggers and other heavy users could face charges of up to £10.
"All proceeds from this levy will go towards securing the legacy of the 2012 Olympics" said the bumbling halfwit earlier.

It's funny coz it's true.
I'm trying to work out if the person having to move is meant to reload everything or just leave the goods on the street to be stolen as they can't stop on the road and would have to spend tem miutes going round and round the block until the other had finished.

This reminds me of a scene from the film Airplane.
