I'm willing to bet at least one person has been mauled by lions today.
So sad.

So sad.
well to be fair the yearly average of lion attacks in the USA and Canada is between 4 and 10 attacks a year
but when you compare that to the uk with our average 0 attacks a year I guess its fairly high

Lions kill over 250 people a year worldwide though
so chances are good.

should we not be hoping that today no one dies from lion attack?

That just means someone has to die of a lion attack tomorrow instead.
Mondays are bad enough as it is.

what about tuesday can it not be pushed back until then
midweek massacre

That just throws out the whole schedule for the entire year.
We'd end up needing to do two a day throughout the whole of December to catch up, and that would totally ruin Christmas.

Mankind could just make lions a thing of the past
its been done before and there are no Dodo related deaths

But then what would we get to kill 250 people a year?
We'd end up having to ship in tigers instead. Think of the carbon emissions!

That still releases carbon.
Although it does reduce the amount of fossil fuels we would need.
