Don't know if you've seen,
but I've submitted an e-petition urging the PM to make a statement condemning it. He might well do - I've worded it in such a way that it gives him the opportunity to criticise the media in general for their overall lowering of standards too. Politicians, particularly unpopular ones, like an excuse to get back at the media.

Won't be up until tomorrow.
Petitions have to go through moderation. However, the moderators have to post each rejected petition on the site for all to see and explain why they rejected it. They're usually quite sensible about it, and only reject really silly ones (the one that sticks in my mind most is someone petitioned tony blair to sex a badger - it was rejected on the grounds that it was outside of the Prime Minister's legal powers) or ones that already exist.
Link will be posted as soon as it's been through moderation.

It's important to note that the Mail changed the title. It was originally published under the title "There is nothing natural about Stephen Gately's Death"

Thanks, I shall read that now
although I can imagine what it's about... he died because he was gay and therefore promiscuous and a drug taker or some such bollocks.

In a nut shell.
Also, Kevin McGee (Matt Lucas' late partner) committed suicide because he was gay and that celebrities going about being gay left right and center is just encouraging more young men to be gay and end up dead in a hotel room.
